Feed Algae raises $3 million in series A Funding
The Company will use the funds raised to complete construction of its pilot plant in Morocco, undertake further research into microalgae production and applications as well as for general corporate purposes.
Commenting on the announcement Keith Coleman, CEO and Founder of SuSeWi, said:
“This fundraising is an important vote of confidence in the Company, particularly where existing investors chose to increase their stakes. The funds will allow us to complete construction of the pilot plant and enable us to undertake further research into microalgae production and applications. The SuSeWi team are convinced that our approach to cultivating microalgae has enormous potential and could transform global protein production.”
